About the role

  • Make outbound cold calls to merchants using company-provided data
  • Introduce Modern World Business Solutions clearly and confidently
  • Ask engaging discovery questions around current payment suppliers, pricing, and pain points
  • Identify decision-makers within target businesses
  • Generate and book qualified appointments for the Field Sales team
  • Maintain a strong daily call and activity volume
  • Accurately update and manage activity within the CRM
  • Work closely with Field Sales to maximise appointment quality and conversion
  • Continuously build knowledge of the payments sector and merchant needs

Requirements

  • Proven appointment-setting or telesales experience
  • Confidence making cold calls and handling objections
  • A proactive, resilient mindset — you don’t wait for opportunity, you create it
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate CRM usage
  • Experience within payments, merchant services, or financial services
