Manager

• Work within a designated portfolio of partners to support the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of Modern Classrooms educators
• Provide a world-class experience for educators from recruitment through implementation
• Support increased quality of teaching, leading to more students learning in responsive, personalized classrooms
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Educator Support
• Train and support educators using the Modern Classrooms curriculum solution (instructional videos, guided notes, formative assessments)
• Provide ongoing support to educators before, during, and after enrollment in the Math Mentorship Program
• Execute math training (on-site and virtually) for math educators
• Conduct regular outreach and regular coaching calls with educators
• Coordinate and facilitate workshops, events, and other professional learning opportunities, both in-person and virtually
• Lead information sessions (on-site and virtually) and respond to educator inquiries
• Visit classrooms to observe practice, provide feedback, and steward relationships
• Perform administrative tasks and special projects, including data input, managing Asana projects, and generating collateral

Educator Support Manager, Math

Full-stack Engineer

• Technical lead for web application development, driving architecture, quality, accessibility, and performance for classroom-ready tools
• Build new customer-facing products and features for educational technology tools
• Develop robust, scalable, and elegant front-end and back-end systems (primary focus on TypeScript and modern web frameworks)
• Collaborate with Head of Engineering and Chief Innovation Officer to translate user needs and product requirements into technical solutions
• Adapt, integrate, and migrate legacy codebases into a modern unified education platform
• Write clean, high-quality code and champion engineering best practices
• Contribute to application and infrastructure development and deployment of core software platforms and tools
• Initially work mostly independently as the principal software developer, with plans to build out a larger engineering team over time
