Security Engineer

• Act independently and with discretion in managing the company's security-related manners related to defense contracting.
• Responsible for standing up and maintaining the FCL for a possessing facility.
• Ensuring sustained compliance of security documentation for other cleared individuals within the company.
• Lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department.
• Oversee and refine employee procedures and suggest improvements to internal operating activities, keeping in mind existing HR guidelines.
• Implement and improve employee benefits programs, including health, compensation, insurance and other HR functions.
• Guarantee compliance with national and local HR Strategy by conducting detailed investigations and maintaining records and ensuring compliance with local and federal employment laws.
• Manage personnel clearance applications, including CAC (Common Access Card) applications.
• Interface with government contacts on security matters, such as contacts at DCSA and contract POCs.
• Maintain security documentation internally and through DISS/NISS.
