- - **Zone Ownership:** You take full responsibility for your locker zones. You will be the primary point of contact for festival organisers and HQ, ensuring a flawless experience for both the production team and the fans.
- - **Crew Management:** You will source or recruit local crew if needed, brief them, and lead our on-site coordinators. You handle schedules, contracts, and on-site welfare, making sure the team is sharp and motivated.
- - **Slack Command:** Slack is our main communication tool. You must be highly responsive and tech-savvy, coordinating in real time between the field, the warehouse, and management.
- - **Growth & Relationships:** When not on-site, you will actively maintain relationships with existing clients and identify new festivals to expand Mobile Locker UK’s footprint.
- **Logistics and Hands-On Delivery**

- - **Freelance** on a regular, ongoing basis (retainer options available)
- **Festival Season**
- - Around 80% on-site / on the road.
- - You will be the face of our operations at events, leading teams and managing everything on the ground.
- **Off-Season**
- - Office-based (location tbd) or remote.
- - Focus on planning, maintenance oversight, logistics, and preparing for the next season.
- - Support business development and strategy.
- *Interested in project-based work only?*
- *If you're reading this and are only interested in ad-hoc freelance work, please also reach out! We will need staff to support our teams with builds, strikes, and on-site coordination throughout the summer season.*
Requirements
- **Your Profile**
- - **Festival Veteran:** You’ve got solid experience in event operations and understand that “festival hours” often mean nights, weekends, and staying flexible.
- - **Communication:** Fluent English is essential. You can communicate clearly, whether you’re negotiating with a Site Manager or briefing a casual crew member.
- - **Digital Native:** You’re comfortable managing workflows through Slack, spreadsheets, and event software.
- - **Autonomy:** You’re a self-starter who keeps calm under pressure and solves problems before they reach the client.
- - **Lifestyle:** You’re happy being on the road during the summer, whether that means hotels, cabins, or production camping.
- - **Driving:** You hold a valid full UK driving licence and are confident driving large vans (manual transmission). A CE (truck) licence is a big plus.
- - **Machinery:** Holding a valid Forklift or Telehandler ticket is a massive advantage.
