About the role
- Owning project delivery and leading supply chain execution across a portfolio of initiatives to achieve schedule, cost, and milestone targets
- Partnering cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and suppliers to ensure proactive readiness for builds, launches, and ongoing operations
- Collaborating with category management to execute sourcing strategies, including target cost development, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and supplier selection
- Leading and supporting cost reduction, value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE), and should-cost modeling efforts to improve product competitiveness
- Managing supplier selection, qualification, and transitions, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, delivery, innovation, and risk objectives
- Representing Supply Chain in program reviews, readiness gates, and governance forums, ensuring all supply chain deliverables are met
- Driving supplier readiness, including capacity planning, lead times, material availability, and operational capability to support builds and ramps
- Monitoring material and supply chain readiness across project stages and proactively addressing gaps impacting cost, quality, or schedule
- Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, developing and executing contingency plans to protect program timelines and continuity
- Coordinating and aligning global supply chain resources to support critical initiatives and business priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing/Procurement, or Project/Program Management
- Experience managing cross-functional projects in a manufacturing or hardware environment
- Ability to quickly understand technical drawings, specifications, and bills of material (BOMs)
- Knowledge of machined parts, sheet metal, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and electromechanical assemblies
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and timelines
