About the role
- Prospect for and identify new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking, cold calling, tradeshows, seminars, and trainings
- Qualify leads and convert prospects into long-term customers
- Deliver engaging sales presentations that clearly communicate product features, benefits, and value
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales quotas
- Execute sales strategies to increase revenue per customer and overall market share
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key customers and decision-makers
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate products
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, applications, pricing, and industry trends
- Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues creatively and professionally
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with a customer-first mindset
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in sales
- Experience in the swimming pool industry is beneficial; ability to learn quickly is required if no prior industry experience
- Comfort selling technical or specialized products
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using CRM platforms to manage leads, accounts, and sales activity
