About the role
- prepare journal entries
- assist with reconciliations
- support audits
- work closely with Senior Accountant and external tax consultants
- prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses during monthly and quarterly closes
- execute existing accounting and reporting procedures for financial close cycles
- support both internal and external audit processes with documentation and data
- collaborate with the Senior Accountant and tax consultants on tax and license filings
- review current procedures and suggest ways to improve accuracy and efficiency
- research complex accounting scenarios and recommending solutions
- help maintain and document corporate accounting policies and internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor in economics and finance or similar
- some experience in an accounting role
- understanding of local GAAP
- advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
- fluency in English (written and spoken)
- ability to collaborate within a team
- analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
- Bonus points if you have experience in the telecommunications industry
