About the role

  • Coordinate suppliers and execute orders
  • Manage the end-to-end process of converting PRs to POs for assigned work packages.
  • Manage the end-to-end quotation process for procurement of non-contracted spare parts, including evaluation of prices and fees, lead times, and minimum order quantity conditions.
  • Contact suppliers and coordinate with them to expedite and/or resolve issues related to customer urgent orders and replenishment orders.
  • Oversee escalated reporting on open orders from the value stream logistics team and resolve exceptions with suppliers.
  • Update required reports with supplier commitments and updates, including tools for managing customer backorders.
  • Align and coordinate with the AOG team to ensure prioritization of critical orders.
  • Support and work closely with the value stream logistics team to facilitate material flow and resolve issues, including managing purchase requisitions and converting them when necessary, tracking purchase orders, delivery schedules and invoices.
  • Resolve discrepancies between orders, rejections and claims with suppliers.
  • Maintain communication and alignment with internal stakeholders to ensure systems are updated to reflect accurate supplier, procurement and order-execution information, including lead times, minimum order quantities and pricing terms.
  • Participate in special supplier-related projects, including compliance tracking and reporting.

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Logistics or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supplier management or logistics.
  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing is an asset.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and procurement tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to analyze order-status reports, identify gaps and effectively address supplier-related issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Bilingualism (French and English), written and spoken, is an asset.
