About the role

  • Provide structure, leadership, strategic planning, and ongoing management for the manufacture and repair of Turbine components for the Orlando Service Center facility.
  • Drive operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Translate strategic objectives into executable operational plans while ensuring alignment across manufacturing, repair, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Communicate and collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional leaders on operational, strategic, and transformation initiatives.
  • Track and report key performance indicators and identify opportunities for productivity and utilization improvements.
  • Utilize data and analytics to improve operational decision making.
  • Act as the primary deputy and support for the Orlando Service Center Vice President of Manufacturing.
  • Partner with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to foster a strong safety culture, proactively identify risks, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational performance, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Continue the high performing culture and focus on accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of related experience/training.
  • Must have previous manufacturing leadership experience with a site of over 200 direct employees.
  • Able to read and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Capable of responding to inquiries from customers, regulators, and business professionals.
  • Able to write professional materials (e.g., articles, speeches) and present information effectively to leadership, public groups, and boards.
  • Able to use advanced math concepts (exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, permutations).
  • Skilled in statistical analysis, including distributions, reliability/validity testing, ANOVA, correlations, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Able to define problems, gather and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to interpret complex technical instructions and work with both abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficient with database, project management, spreadsheet, and word-processing software.
  • Familiar with email, graphics tools, technical diagrams, and flowcharting.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and must not require employer immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
