About the role
- Independently lead HR responsibilities with minimal guidance.
- Consult with leaders on HR matters including talent acquisition, compensation, training, development, and performance management.
- Deliver HR solutions that support business operations and organizational culture.
- Interpret and assist with understanding company policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics to support decision‑making and recommendations.
- Collaborate with HR team members to develop innovative HR solutions.
- Maintain HRIS records and generate required reports.
- Conduct onboarding and training for employees and leaders.
- Support performance evaluation and rewards programs.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop and maintain job descriptions.
- Support and communicate the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Exhibit strong analytical, problem‑solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of employment regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; minimum five years of HR experience.
- SHRM‑CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos, or UKG preferred.
- Occasionally required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
