About the role

  • After Sales Engineer carries out various activities related to technical support for distributors and partners in territories in charge related to air conditioning, heat pumps, and refrigeration.
  • Cooperate with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems (MTH) service/design section and with factory service section.
  • Respond to technical inquiries by e-mail or phone without any delays.
  • Investigate unit troubles/claims.
  • Visit sites for commissioning/trouble shooting for customers/distributors.
  • Submit reports for technical support for site visits.
  • Create presentations for distributors/customers.
  • Help to create new brochures/leaflets for the territories.
  • Attend relevant seminars/meetings relating to heat pump industry associations.

Requirements

  • An Engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification gained through study or apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of three years of technical experience in the air conditioning, heat pump, and/or refrigeration industry, preferably in roles involving manufacturers or distributors.
  • Knowledge in refrigeration cycle; commercial refrigeration system; VRF system; heat pumps system; chiller system; building management system; EU regulations/ directives related to air conditioning / refrigeration.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Fluent English, both oral and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Multi-tasking.
  • Knowledge of other European language(s) could be beneficial.
  • Prioritizing skills.
  • Understanding of customer requirements.
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
