About the role

  • Provide frontline IT support by monitoring systems and assisting with troubleshooting
  • Methodically troubleshoot computers, peripherals, and core desktop software (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.)
  • Support network connectivity issues including LAN, WLAN, and VPN
  • Assist with printer and copier support
  • Document incidents, requests, and resolutions using a ticketing system
  • Support routine maintenance activities and process documentation
  • Work directly with end users, providing clear, non-technical communication and empathetic support
  • Manage multiple tickets and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Prior internship or customer-facing technical support experience preferred
  • Experience working with a ticketing system
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
