About the role
- Provide frontline IT support by monitoring systems and assisting with troubleshooting
- Methodically troubleshoot computers, peripherals, and core desktop software (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.)
- Support network connectivity issues including LAN, WLAN, and VPN
- Assist with printer and copier support
- Document incidents, requests, and resolutions using a ticketing system
- Support routine maintenance activities and process documentation
- Work directly with end users, providing clear, non-technical communication and empathetic support
- Manage multiple tickets and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Prior internship or customer-facing technical support experience preferred
- Experience working with a ticketing system
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
