About the role

  • Responsible for localized bug fixes and minor feature enhancements under supervision.
  • Scope of a given task typically resides within one module.
  • Understanding and application of zero-defect policy (not adding defects with changes).
  • Ensuring expected quality and manner while completing all tasks and obligations defined by superiors.

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge
  • At least 1 year experience in a development project
  • Passionate about software/technology
  • Good command of English
  • Knowledge of C++
  • Knowledge of Java
  • A mindset of solving hard problems efficiently with creativity
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures
  • Ability to learn new technologies/frameworks fast, and apply them to *any* codebase
  • Knowledge of frameworks (Qt), unit testing frameworks and design patterns (Advantageous)
  • Hands on experience with Linux OS/scripting languages (bash, perl, python) (Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of version control software - git (Advantageous)
  • Understanding of C++ 11/14/17 standards (Advantageous)
