About the role
- Lead and manage a small team, providing day-to-day guidance, coaching, and professional development
- Execute the annual operational planning process, quarterly and monthly financial forecasting, and ongoing analysis of actuals versus prior periods, plan, and/or forecasts
- Prepare management reports for leadership, FP&A, and the executive team – analyze results, distill/summarize business performance metrics, assess business risks, and communicate risks and opportunities in a timely manner
- Act as a trusted financial partner to business leaders and teams, providing data-driven recommendations and insights that drive performance and strategic decision-making
- Foster partnerships with user acquisition, sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to improve unit economics, optimize spend, and drive business growth
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve overall financial organization efficiency and increase visibility and depth of understanding of key financial metrics.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of progressive FP&A experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
- Proven ability to analyze operational and financial data to deliver strategic insights
- Strong leader with demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and remain adaptable amid growth and change
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships across the organization and drive cross-functional results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders
- Self-starter who enjoys building and continuously taking on new challenges.
