About the role
- Manage and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Administer Windows 11 virtual desktop clients (VDI) — deploying images, enforcing policies, and optimizing performance
- Develop, manage, and troubleshoot Windows domain Group and Local Policies structure, inheritance, customizations, and settings
- Deploy and manage MECM environment, patching, and endpoint configurations including host based firewalls and data loss prevention
- Apply and validate DISA STIGs on Windows systems; remediate findings in support of POA&M closure
- Execute monthly patching and system updates across enclave endpoints and servers
- Support and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure, including ESXi hosts and guest VMs, in collaboration with virtualization engineers
- Monitor system performance, conduct troubleshooting, and escalate complex issues to IT engineering leads
- Maintain backup schedules, perform test restorations, and contribute to disaster recovery planning
- Create and maintain technical documentation including maintenance procedures, configurations, patch logs, and incident response records
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for technical issues across NETOPS-managed systems
- Participate in NETOPS planning and change management activities, ensuring all system changes are coordinated and documented
Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 3 years of relevant experience with master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- CompTIA Security+ with CE (DoD 8570 baseline)
- One of the following: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, Administrator Expert, or Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
