About the role
- Mirantis is seeking a Consulting Architect to join our Professional Services organization. In this role, you will guide clients from their current state to strategic solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- You will collaborate closely with Services, Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of Mirantis solutions.
- This role requires technical thought leadership and offers opportunities for professional growth across diverse business and technology domains.
- This role will be based remotely in the US
- Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of services for strategic clients, ensuring solutions meet business objectives. Build trusted relationships with clients, engaging stakeholders from engineering teams to the CxO level. Represent client needs internally, serving as a liaison to for feedback across Services, Product, and Support teams. Design and refine service solutions based on client interactions and ecosystem insights. Collaborate with Services leadership and internal teams to develop offerings that complement Mirantis products. Travel up to 50% to support client engagement and service delivery.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, software development practices, application architecture, and DevOps philosophies.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, public cloud services, automation, CI/CD tooling, and OSS monitoring/logging systems.
- Awareness of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and the competitive cloud infrastructure landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
- Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team.
- 5+ years of experience in client-facing roles such as consultant, architect, or similar.
- Proven experience collaborating with senior IT and engineering leadership, including CIOs and CTOs.
- Demonstrated thought leadership through client interactions, conference presentations, publications, or similar contributions.
