About the role
- Plan, create and execute automated tests (UI, API, regression and integration);
- Perform manual functional testing (exploratory, regression and smoke);
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress or Playwright;
- Test APIs using Postman or libraries such as RestAssured;
- Execute tests in pipelines and data processes (ETL, Data Lake, Data Warehouse), ensuring data integrity and quality;
- Validate SQL queries and the results of data transformations by comparing sources and targets;
- Automate data testing using Python or Data Test Automation frameworks;
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, review, retrospective);
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.);
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers and product owners to ensure high-quality deliveries;
- Apply BDD/TDD practices using frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave;
- Support user acceptance testing and post-deployment monitoring to ensure system stability.
Requirements
- Strong experience with manual functional testing;
- Knowledge of test automation (UI and API);
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright;
- Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python or Java;
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.);
- Familiarity with CI/CD and integrating tests into pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar);
- Experience with Git and version control;
- Analytical skills and attention to detail when validating data and complex processes;
- Good communication and ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams.
