About the role
- Plan test scenarios based on system requirements and project specifications.
- Participate in design, code and documentation reviews to ensure quality across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement test automation scripts.
- Execute functional, integration, regression and exploratory tests to identify potential software defects.
- Verify that system requirements are being met through executed tests.
- Identify, analyze and document defects found during testing using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and ensure product quality.
- Prepare test status reports and communicate results and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced English (speaking, writing, reading).
- Experience testing web applications and integrated system testing.
- Experience planning and executing manual and automated tests on projects and systems.
- Knowledge of programming logic.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g.: Octane, Jira or Squash).
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks.
- Experience with API automation.
