About the role
- Act as a trusted advisor to the client, providing expert functional and solution guidance
- Gather business requirements, perform fit gap analysis, and document high quality functional specifications
- Create and validate As Is and To Be process maps to support design and alignment with future state solutions
- Perform system configuration and execute unit testing to ensure solution accuracy
- Document configuration settings, functional specifications, test scripts, and supporting artefacts
- Execute test cases and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Lead a functional workstream, ensuring delivery quality, issue resolution, and alignment with project timelines
- Provide input to project management on planning, risks, dependencies, and status updates
- Contribute to capability development within the functional service line, including knowledge sharing and improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 10 + years of project experience
- Extensive experience working with SAP
- Strong ability to demonstrate deep functional knowledge of SAP MM
- Experience with SAP SD and or EWM a plus
- Proven ability to independently build and manage business stakeholder relationships
- Solid understanding of project methodologies and delivery phases
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in functional lead and solution architect roles
- Experience in the FMCP, Retail and or Energy
