About the role

  • Work with clients to define Procurement strategies, target operating models, and transformation roadmaps aligned to broader business objectives such as cost competitiveness, resilience, ESG, and growth
  • Apply a business-first consulting mindset to diagnose procurement challenges, identifying value levers across sourcing, category management, supplier collaboration, and contracting
  • Leverage AI and GenAI capabilities (e.g., intelligent spend analysis, opportunity identification, category playbooks, contract intelligence, supplier risk sensing) to improve decision quality, speed, and scalability
  • Translate strategic concepts into pragmatic, value-backed initiatives, supported by data-driven insights and clear execution priorities
  • Support end-to-end procurement process optimization, with a focus on embedding intelligence, automation, and analytics rather than manual or tool-centric redesign
  • Engage confidently with senior client stakeholders, tailoring insights and recommendations for procurement, business, and executive audiences
  • Contribute to Capgemini Invent capability development, including AI-led Procurement offerings, thought leadership, and reusable assets
  • Coach and develop junior team members, reinforcing structured problem-solving, consulting rigor, and outcome-oriented delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience within Procurement or Supply Chain Advisory in a management consulting, internal consulting, or equivalent advisory environment
  • Strong grounding across core Procurement capabilities (e.g., procurement strategy, operating model, strategic sourcing, category management, spend analysis)
  • Demonstrated business-first, hypothesis-driven consulting approach, focused on solving client problems rather than implementing point solutions
  • Hands-on exposure to AI, GenAI, or advanced analytics applications in Procurement, such as spend intelligence, sourcing optimization, contract analytics, or supplier risk
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data, insights, and AI-enabled analysis into clear client recommendations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including comfort engaging with senior client leaders.
  • Broader Supply Chain experience (Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Distribution, or Analytics) and ability to connect Procurement decisions end-to-end
  • Familiarity with procurement data, digital platforms, or intelligent procurement ecosystems (experience over certification)
  • Experience contributing to offering development, POVs, or internal knowledge assets
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach junior consultants in a project-based environment.

  • Paid time off based on employee grade (A-F), defined by policy: Vacation: 12-25 days, depending on grade
