About the role

  • Own and drive the IFS Cloud architectural vision: define the target architecture, guide key structural decisions, and ensure coherence, performance, and scalability.
  • Participate in end-to-end pre-sales: strategic scoping, defining the target solution, demonstrations, contributing to proposals and client presentations.
  • Lead architecture governance (Design Authority): make trade-offs, validate designs, define integration boundaries, and oversee developments and extensions.
  • Lead and challenge IFS architects and experts: align decisions, harmonize practices, and raise the quality of deliverables.
  • Ensure technical and functional coherence throughout delivery: configuration, interfaces, data migration, security, performance, testing, and Go‑Live.
  • Anticipate risks, dependencies, and impacts on the overall program roadmap.
  • Contribute to the development of the IFS practice: industrialize architecture frameworks, capture knowledge, drive innovation, and lead community activities.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in IFS Applications / IFS Cloud, with a cross-functional understanding of Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Maintenance.
  • Significant experience designing complex architectures and leading architecture teams.
  • Strong ability to engage with business and IT leadership, including in strategic or decision-making contexts.
  • Proven pre-sales experience and the ability to present and defend the solution vision to senior clients.
  • Natural leadership, recognised as a technical authority, with the ability to influence and bring people together.
  • IFS certifications preferred; fluent English.
