About the role

  • Achieves commercial sales and growth objectives within territory assignment
  • Develops a local strategy and business plan for territory objectives
  • Develops strategy for product and POS material placements
  • Builds client willingness and capability to collaborate with the Company
  • Develops and maintains business relationships with local chains and distributors
  • Executes the 5Ps: presence, pricing, promotion, product, and personal selling
  • Analyses territory to identify and negotiate contracts with new retail customer opportunities
  • Collaborates with Division Manager on territory planning and company product initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience preferred
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Committed to continuous personal and professional growth
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Previous experience in a marketing-focused role preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to perform as a territory manager successfully
  • Geographically mobile for career growth
  • Ability to communicate with and engage retail customers
  • Effective influencing, sales, negotiation, and marketing skills
  • Good business judgment
  • Leadership, self-motivation, and initiative
  • High level of persistence and results orientation
  • Ability to travel frequently, up to 200 miles per day
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to climb and work from heights of 9 to 12 feet
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
