About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade platform components and reusable engineering patterns that support large‑scale, distributed systems.
- Ensure platform solutions follow best practices for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Implement and manage OpenTelemetry-based telemetry pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces.
- If applicable, integrate and optimize observability tooling such as Datadog or Splunk for end‑to‑end monitoring and visibility.
- Ensure observability standards and instrumentation are consistently applied across platforms and services.
Requirements
- Strong Engineering experience working on enterprise platforms & reusable patterns
- OpenTelemetry – Experience with telemetry data collection and integration.
- Must have expertise in either Datadog / Splunk
- Python or Bash Scripting – Automation and tooling
- Datadog and/or Splunk – Monitoring and observability.
- Foundational Cloud Skills experience: Cloud Platforms – Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Kubernetes – Container orchestration and management.
- Docker – Containerization and image management.
- Working experience on CI/CD Pipeline using Jenkins.
- IaC – Terraform and/or Opentofu and/or CFT working experience
