About the role

  • Implementing, configuring, and monitoring WAFs (like Imperva AWS WAF, Cloudflare) to protect web applications.
  • Setting up and configuring cloud-based WAFs to protect web applications from various attacks.
  • Analysing WAF logs and alerts to detect and respond to security threats.
  • Conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability testing of web applications.
  • Creating and enforcing security policies, rulesets, and configurations for the WAF.
  • Participating in incident response and forensic analysis in the event of a security breach.
  • Working with development and IT teams to ensure secure application deployments and address security issues.
  • Staying abreast of the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation related to WAF configurations and security practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years or more in Cloud WAF (Imperva, Cloudflare, AWS WAF)
  • 3 years or more of experience in Palo Alto firewall & Panorama.
  • 3 years or more experience in cloud Proxy (Zscaler, Sky-high, CATO)
  • Knowledge about SASE ZTNA.
  • Any implementation experience on SASE Product (CATO , Zscaler, Net scope, Palo Alto).
