About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes (EKS)
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch and other APM/observability tools
  • Automate operational tasks and create tools using Bash and other scripting languages
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Ensure security best practices by managing IAM roles, policies, and VPC networking configurations
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across various AWS environments

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services, including: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, ELB ECS/EKS, Lambda (preferred)
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Expertise in containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
  • Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting (Bash)
  • Hands-on experience with Git and modern version control practices
  • Good understanding of networking concepts: DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancers, Security Groups, Subnets
