About the role
- Lead the technical design and development of a cloud-based, 3GPP‑compliant 5G SA Core Network
- Collaborate closely with architects and developers
- Design, document, and implement components of a 5G SA Core Network using Java and relevant databases
- Work with Product, Network, and Architecture teams to translate requirements into detailed user stories
- Ensure designs meet security, observability, and performance goals
- Develop network components using analysis tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, and pcap
- Help plan and manage delivery timelines
- Mentor developers and conduct code reviews
- Optimize network performance and resolve advanced engineering challenges
Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience
- Proficiency with Java and C/C++
- Experience with at least one database: MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, Redis
- Strong skills in AI/GenAI coding assistants & prompt engineering
- Git version control and release processes
