About the role
- Define and lead the enterprise data architecture vision, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies
- Architect scalable, secure, high-performance data platforms and pipelines across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid ecosystems
- Build reference architectures and data models (relational, dimensional, NoSQL, graph, object-store) for all data types and workloads
- Establish and enforce standards for data governance, security, quality, lineage, and metadata across the enterprise
- Mentor teams, drive architectural reviews, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise architecture roles
- Strong expertise in BigQuery, Dataform, GCS, Composer, GCP Workflows, CI/CD pipelines, data modelling, and cloud data warehousing across GCP and Azure
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for large-scale data processing, automation, and analytics
- Relevant industry certifications such as GCP Professional Data Engineer/Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure Architect
