About the role

  • Create and maintain production plans for the assigned factory across short term and mid term horizons
  • Balance capacity considering system parameters, technical/labor capacity, projects, and downtime
  • Identify planning bottlenecks and propose immediate corrective actions
  • Verify production dates versus required deadlines (e.g., regulatory constraints)
  • Address planning errors and ensure coverage aligns with agreed min/max parameters
  • Manage factory to factory relocations, ensuring system and material readiness
  • Maintain and regularly update inventory parameters
  • Escalate issues for operational alignment meetings
  • Ensure correct format class assignment and resolve issues
  • Adjust production frequency quarterly according to strategy
  • Maintain accurate planning visibility in systems (e.g., STRs, forecasts)
  • Manage planning KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare MPS snapshots and capacity reports as required

Requirements

  • Effective collaboration and information sharing with planning teams, factories, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to anticipate issues early and initiate mitigation actions
  • Ambitious goal orientation and delivery of key planning KPIs
  • Clear issue identification, critical thinking, and solution implementation
  • Understanding of customer requirements and improvement of planning processes
  • Ability to reach balanced agreements with stakeholders considering short and long term needs
  • Positive contribution to cross functional collaboration and shared goals
