About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for high-quality software delivery
- Use Selenium WebDriver automation with Python
- Write robust XPath/CSS selectors and custom locators
- Execute API automation using Robot Framework (RequestsLibrary) or Python
- Develop automation framework design (POM, keyword-driven, hybrid)
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub)
- Debug automation failures, logs, error traces, and screenshots
Requirements
- Automation Engineer proficient in Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, and Python
- Strong scripting skills
- Framework design knowledge
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs for cloud execution
- Knowledge of Docker for containerizing tests
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Behave/Cucumber)
- Basic understanding of database/SQL for validation
- Familiarity with API tools like Postman
- Exposure to test management tools (Jira, Azure Boards, TestRail, qTest)
- Knowledge of performance testing basics (JMeter)
- Familiarity with Linux commands for automation environments
- Understanding of microservices and REST APIs
