About the role

  • You are responsible for designing scalable data architectures and data pipelines that enable modern AI and analytics solutions.
  • You develop and operationalize innovative ML and generative AI approaches, including RAG systems, creating real business value.
  • You work closely with interdisciplinary teams and translate complex requirements into future-proof technical solutions.
  • You ensure the highest data quality, clear governance and optimal performance across all systems.
  • You strengthen the engineering team through best practices, knowledge transfer and clear technical guidelines, and contribute your technical expertise to the preparation of proposals.

Requirements

  • You have extensive experience in Data Engineering, AI Engineering or cloud-based data solutions and hold a relevant academic qualification.
  • You are proficient in Python, SQL/NoSQL, big data technologies and graph databases such as Neo4j or AWS Neptune.
  • You have hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP and are comfortable working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery.
  • You are familiar with data science and generative AI frameworks as well as modern MLOps environments (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • You communicate confidently in German and English and thrive in innovative, collaborative environments, enabling you to excel at stakeholder management across different hierarchy levels.
