About the role
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly and annual closing procedures
- Manage the site budget and forecast procedures
- Provide accurate and valuable financial analyses on regular and ad hoc basis
- Identify and mitigate financial risks
- Suggest and implement profitability measures
- Control cost, capex, credit and other spend and risks within budget and approval guidelines
- Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency of existing procedures
- Maintain effective relationships with external parties such as banks, vendors etc.
- Closely cooperate and coordinate with accounting shared service center, tax, treasury, credit control
- Closely cooperate as well with Global Business Unit and Corporate Headquarters
- Support internal and external audit
- Ensure all business activities follow legal requirements and corporate guidelines
- Ensure implementation of compliance updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance or related discipline
- 6-10 years working experience in financial management in multinational manufacturing companies
- At least 3 years site controlling experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting in a legal entity: closing, costing, controls, planning
- Good knowledge of US financial regulations as well as IFRS
- Highly analytical and forward looking
- Broad knowledge of SAP
- Effective and fast usage of Excel
- People management experience
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and government officials
- Ability to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) with all levels within the organization
- Business partnering skills and a good team player
- High awareness for quality, timeliness, integrity, professionalism
- Proactive and self-driven character, excellent self-management, embracing change and driving improvement.
