About the role

  • You are responsible for conducting prior-art searches and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses.
  • You work closely with inventors to prepare patent applications.
  • You manage patent prosecution for patent applications and correspond with national and international patent attorneys.
  • You monitor and evaluate competitors' patents.
  • In addition, you help develop and refine the patent strategy.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Chemistry or equivalent
  • Some professional experience in interdisciplinary research and good technical knowledge in organic synthesis and polymers
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong team and collaboration skills, ability to work independently, and a structured way of working
