About the role

  • Data modeling, definition of business rules and design of omnichannel experiences (Portal, Workspace and Mobile), using Process Automation Designer, Playbooks and medium- and high-coupling integrations.
  • Advanced automation: creation of Flows, Subflows and reusable Actions, with governance, catalogs and approval chains, using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub and corporate spokes.
  • Integrations and security: design of secure integrations (authentication, authorization, observability), definition of MID Server strategy, error handling and documentation of APIs and data mappings.
  • Support and Hypercare: planning and execution of upgrades, application of health checklists, coordination of hypercare periods, management of critical incidents and monitoring of operational indicators.
  • CoE / CoEI and Citizen Developer: definition of standards, playbooks and training paths, ensuring governance and quality of low-code deliveries performed by business areas.
  • AI applied to App Engine: evaluation and incorporation of AI Agents (triage, classification and orchestration) when the use case requires more intelligent automation.

Requirements

  • Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in IT (Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields).
  • Postgraduate degrees or specializations in Software Architecture, Integrations or UX will be considered a plus.
  • Advanced command of ServiceNow App Engine and the Now Experience / UI Builder ecosystem, including Service Portal and Workspaces.
  • Ability to create modular, scalable omnichannel experiences (Portal, Workspace and Mobile), aligned with AppEngine offerings and deliverables defined in the practice master decks.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Glide APIs (Script Includes and Business Rules) when low-code is not sufficient.
  • Experience with reuse patterns (subflows, actions, widgets), observability, telemetry and error handling, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Ability to articulate value (ROI), support adoption, decide between OOTB vs customization and contribute to governance and coexistence roadmaps with legacy systems.
