About the role
- As a Working Student (m/f/d) in Business Development within the Chemicals area, you will operate at the interface between innovation, commercial functions and the market.
- You will collect, understand and process information about breakthrough technologies and participate in discussions on their implementation within our Business Line Chemicals.
- You will also take on tasks (including responsibility for subprojects) related to our business development initiatives and actively support the preparation of steering meetings for senior management.
- Monitoring, analysing and evaluating current and future markets, technologies and business models will also be part of your responsibilities.
- In addition, you will participate in discussions about potential growth areas.
- Finally, close and open collaboration with internal and external project partners will be part of your daily work.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in a scientific field—particularly Chemistry, Management, Natural or Materials Sciences, Industrial Engineering—or a comparable program
- Solid basic understanding of business administration, acquired through studies, internships or professional experience
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both orally and in writing in English and German
- Interest in the chemical industry and strong analytical thinking skills
- Independent, outgoing and persuasive personality combined with curiosity and a hands-on mentality
