About the role

  • support in-house research in computer vision algorithms for privacy, taking existing methods and making them more robust for real-world applications
  • improving systems based on user data performance, using your knowledge of the state of the art to propose and implement innovative solutions
  • integrating algorithms and testing them in real-world environments to ensure practical applicability
  • benchmarking and integrating foundation models into an agentic framework to enhance system capabilities
  • adapting foundation models under tight compute and data constraints to optimize performance
  • creating, tuning, and deploying deep neural networks in practical environments to solve complex vision challenges

Requirements

  • PhD or master's degree with equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics
  • Demonstrated research experience in computer vision, particularly in object, person, and face detection, foundation and open world models
  • Experience with Parameter Efficient Fine Tuning methods such as LoRA, adapters, QLoRA
  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch and associated libraries for computer vision and deep learning
  • Experience building Agentic AI systems using frameworks like LangGraph
  • Strong Linux environment skills, Git and HPC experience, preferably AWS with Docker or OpenShift
