About the role
- Diagnose and resolve issues across the data platform, including data pipelines, storage, and processing layers
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application teams to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows
- Liaise with core development teams to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of data services on GCP
- Design and implement scalable data solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base for incident resolution and platform improvements
- Support continuous improvement of data quality, reliability, and observability across the platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially in data services
- 3+ years of experience in the cloud or data engineering industry, with at least 1 year working directly with GCP
- 1+ years supporting enterprise-scale data platforms or cloud-based data applications
- Advanced English level
