Define and drive the test strategy and architecture for RG platforms (Fiber and Mobility Gateways).
Design end-to-end test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and interoperability testing.
Lead test automation framework design, including CI/CD integration for firmware and software releases.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Field teams to identify test requirements and edge cases.
Mentor and guide test engineers, ensuring best practices in test design and execution.
Analyze defects and provide root cause insights to the Engineering team.
Evaluate and recommend tools, simulators, and test infrastructure to enhance testing efficiency.
Drive the adoption of new testing methodologies, such as AI-assisted test generation.
Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating with offshore teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
15+ years of experience in software/hardware testing, with 5+ years in networking device testing (CEP/RG preferred)
Strong understanding of network protocols: xPON (GPON and XGSPON), DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Cellular (LTE/5G)
Experience in Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi6e or Wi-Fi7 and Spirent Test Centre or IXIA
Good Understanding of USP/TR-369/CWMP/TR-69/TR-181/TR-98
Expertise in test automation frameworks (Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, Jenkins, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for firmware/software deployment and validation.
Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies.
Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating with offshore teams.
