About the role

  • Lead end to end delivery of payment transformation programs across multiple business units
  • Define and execute roadmap for payment modernization including digital wallets, real-time payments and reconciliation automation
  • Serve as SME for payment workflows across policy issuance, claims, and premium collections
  • Manage cross-functional teams across technology, operations, finance, and compliance
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and integration of third-party payment platforms
  • Ensure delivery milestones, budgets, and KPIs are met across global projects
  • Act as the go-to expert for payment systems including ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, card networks, and emerging fintech integrations
  • Ensure compliance with global payment regulations eg. PSD2, PCI DSS, AML/KYC
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to optimize payment related touchpoints
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory bodies
  • Present program updates to executive leadership and influence strategic decisions
  • Champion customer-centric payment experiences across digital channels

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in payment systems, digital payment platforms, and financial operations
  • Strong understanding of insurance lifecycle and how payments intersect with policy, claims, and finance
  • Experience working with platforms like OneInc, Stripe, Adyen, or similar
  • PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
