About the role
- Define SIT test strategy, scope, approach, timelines, and resourcing
- Prepare and maintain SIT test plans, entry/exit criteria, and schedules
- Manage SIT phases including planning, execution, defect management, and sign off
- Ensure test coverage across integrated systems, interfaces, and workflows
- Lead and coordinate SIT execution across multiple teams and vendors
- Validate integrated functionality across upstream and downstream systems
- Oversee test case design, review, and execution for system integrations
- Manage test data requirements and environment readiness
- Ensure adherence to agreed testing standards and processes
- Oversee defect triage, prioritization, and resolution
- Track SIT defects across multiple systems and drive closure
- Identify testing risks, dependencies, and integration issues
- Provide mitigation plans and escalate critical issues when required
- Act as the primary point of contact for SIT status and governance
- Provide daily/weekly SIT status reports and test metrics
- Collaborate with development, business, UAT, and release teams
- Support SIT sign off and handover to UAT or next testing phase
Requirements
- Test Manager with 9 to 12 years of experience
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand and convert requirements
- IT Project Management experience
- Project Management experience in Banking domain
- Mainframe functional and/or automation testing experience desired
- Good experience in Risk Management, Project Administration, Documentation, Planning, Budgeting
- English proficiency – capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently
- Determination and focus to drive projects through to implementation
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- Good team player, self-motivated, able to work on own initiative
- Ability to cope in a technically complex environment
- Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritization
- Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations
