About the role
- Playing a crucial role in optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor.
- Collaborating closely with operators and technical teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall operational excellence.
- Providing hands-on support to operators on the production floor, monitoring and improving key performance indicators such as Uptime, OEE, and TPM.
- Analyzing downtime, recurring issues, and quality deviations to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Leading and actively participating in Kaizen initiatives and broader Continuous Improvement activities to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Optimizing work methods, production processes, ergonomics, and workflow efficiency to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinating preventive and minor corrective maintenance activities with technical teams to ensure equipment reliability.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong hands-on mentality and willingness to work directly on the shop floor
- Solid analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset and can effectively communicate complex technical concepts
- Fluent communication skills in Dutch to interact effectively with operators and technical colleagues
- Genuine interest in production processes, machinery performance, and process optimization
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, TPM) and a technical background in mechanics, electromechanics, or industrial processes
