About the role

  • Designing and configuring SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes effectively
  • Developing intuitive HMI screens and dashboards that provide operators with clear visibility of process data
  • Working with sensors, PLCs, and other field devices to ensure proper integration with SCADA systems
  • Implementing and managing alarm systems to alert operators of critical process deviations
  • Configuring data collection, storage, and reporting systems to support operational decision-making
  • Collaborating with IT and automation teams to ensure system security, performance, and reliability

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in SCADA development or industrial automation
  • You possess either an IT background with strong interest in automation or an automation background eager to deepen SCADA expertise
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English
  • You have basic electrical knowledge, including the ability to connect and disconnect sensors
  • You are familiar with networks, Windows environments, and databases
  • You demonstrate knowledge of PLCs, OPC UA, and scripting languages (advantage)
  • You are a problem-solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
