About the role
- Preparation, calculation, and processing of complex General Ledger journals, accruals, provisions, allocations, and other entries
- Monitoring fixed asset transactions and budgets, and contacting asset owners to initiate capitalization
- Daily processing of bank statements and reconciliation of bank-related accounts, as well as clearing and monitoring sub-accounts
- Reconciliation of intercompany transactions and confirmation of intercompany balances with counterparties
- Preparation and execution of period-end close activities according to the agreed timetable and procedures
- Preparation of operational reports within the area of expertise
Requirements
- Experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) or General Ledger accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Ability to manage complex transactions and closing activities independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficient in English
- Experience with process improvements or automation is an advantage
