About the role

  • Gather and document detailed data requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Map data attributes from the Enterprise Data Model (EDM) to consumer system needs and define transformation logic.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data specification documents, including mappings and data quality rules.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to address EDM gaps and ensure accurate, consistent data delivery.
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and communicate progress effectively to technical and business teams.
  • Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
  • Experience with data transformation and data quality tools.
  • Understanding of API integration and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery is a plus.
