About the role
- Design and implement robust automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment
- Implement API automation using Rest Assured for RESTful services
- Develop BDD test scripts using Cucumber and integrate them with automation frameworks
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git)
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing using automation tools
- Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize scripts for performance and reliability
- Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with best practices
Requirements
- Strong expertise in API testing using Rest Assured, BDD frameworks like Cucumber, and UI automation
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation
- Expertise in BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
- Good understanding of HTTP/REST, JSON/XML, and web services
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
