About the role

  • Design and implement automation frameworks to ensure high-quality delivery of Guidewire applications
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java
  • Implement API automation for Guidewire services using Rest Assured or similar tools
  • Validate business workflows, rating engines, and policy/claim transactions
  • Collaborate with developers, BA, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Prepare and maintain test cases, test data, and test documentation
  • Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize scripts for performance and reliability
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments and participate in sprint planning and reviews

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter testing
  • Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java for UI automation
  • Good knowledge of API testing (REST/SOAP) and tools like Rest Assured
  • Familiarity with Guidewire architecture, configuration, and integration points
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) and test management tools (Jira, ALM)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
