About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain BDD-based automation frameworks using Cucumber or similar tools
  • Implement API automation using Karate for RESTful services
  • Develop UI automation scripts using Microsoft Playwright and Selenium WebDriver
  • Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git)
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in BDD frameworks
  • API testing using Karate
  • UI automation with Playwright and Selenium
  • SQL for database validation
  • Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave)
  • Expertise in Karate for API testing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Playwright and Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
  • Good understanding of SQL for database validation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
