About the role

  • Assess aircraft structural damage
  • Respond to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations and customer engineering requests
  • Design and implement information and communication management systems
  • Propose repair solutions compliant with industry regulations and customer requirements
  • Work with the stress/loads department and other specialists
  • Prepare design reports in English for certification purposes
  • Develop generic repairs for metallic and composite structures
  • Participate in the design and support of structural modifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in aerospace repairs (in-service, MAP/MRB)
  • Good knowledge of CATIA V5, ENOVIA and PLM Configuration
  • Excellent knowledge of aircraft structures
  • Ability to review and challenge aircraft structural repairs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • French is an asset
  • Knowledge of airline operations, engineering and maintenance is an asset
