About the role

  • Design, develop, and support B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and Connect: Direct
  • Configure routing rules, protocols (CD, MQ, API, SFTP, etc.), and manage partner onboarding for B2B transactions
  • Develop and maintain custom components and scripts to enhance Sterling functionality
  • Troubleshoot file transfer issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted business operations
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and patching of Sterling environments
  • Collaborate with business units and trading partners to implement secure file transfer requirements
  • Document processes, technical designs, and system changes for compliance and transparency
  • Ensure adherence to security and audit standards across all B2B integration processes
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and support teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect: Direct, and Control Center
  • Strong understanding of codelist and SFG routing rules
  • Experience with protocols such as SFTP, MQ, HTTP/S, AS2, and Connect: Direct
  • Expertise in partner onboarding and certificate/key management for B2B integrations
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools for Sterling (like IBM Control Center)
  • Solid understanding of file encryption/decryption and secure data transmission
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience in cloud-based deployments of Sterling (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Exposure to DevOps tools for CI/CD in integration environments
  • Experience with IBM Control Center, Sterling Secure Proxy, or Sterling Connect: Direct.
