About the role
- Setting up and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop test environments for ADAS components and systems
- Developing test scenarios and test cases for various ADAS functions like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and automated emergency braking
- Executing test procedures and analyzing test results to identify potential issues and improvements
- Supporting the integration of sensor models (cameras, radar, lidar) into the HIL environment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including software developers, system engineers, and validation teams
- Documenting test procedures, results, and technical specifications according to automotive industry standards
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field
- Experience in automotive engineering, preferably with exposure to ADAS systems or HIL testing
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems architecture and ADAS technologies
- Familiarity with HIL testing concepts and tools (dSPACE, Vector, National Instruments, or similar)
- Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet)
- Basic programming skills in at least one language (Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Fluent in English
