About the role
- Provide end‑to‑end bilingual support (Japanese & English) for client communications, meetings, and technical documentation
- Act as a bridge between Japanese clients and global delivery teams, ensuring accurate interpretation and understanding of requirements
- Participate in client calls, status meetings, and technical discussions, translating business and technical content as required
- Support project delivery by ensuring clarity in requirements, issues, and action items between stakeholders
- Create, translate, and maintain documents, reports, SOPs, emails, and presentations in Japanese and English
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in any IT skill
- Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or N3) is required
- Strong Japanese language proficiency with JLPT N2 or N1 (N3 may be considered for select roles)
- Professional proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Experience supporting Japanese clients in IT, operations, or corporate environments
- Good understanding of business etiquette and communication styles in Japan
- Ability to translate technical and non‑technical content accurately
